ROOT & RENEW
Workshops
Our workshops are designed to make regenerative agriculture practical and accessible for smallholder farmers in Kamphaeng Phet. Rather than focusing on theory, we prioritize hands-on learning, where farmers can directly apply techniques to their own land.
Through these sessions, we introduce soil health principles, low-cost regenerative methods, and efficient planting systems such as SeedShift. Each workshop is adapted to local conditions, ensuring that solutions are relevant, scalable, and immediately useful.
Ban Nong Phai Farm

This workshop was conducted in collaboration with local farmers in Ban Nong Phai, focusing on improving soil structure and increasing planting efficiency in sandy, low-organic-matter soils.
Farmers were introduced to regenerative practices including compost integration, moisture retention techniques, and optimized seed spacing using low-cost tools. A live demonstration of SeedShift was carried out, allowing farmers to observe its precision and ease of use in real field conditions.

Wang Yang Community Rice Fields

This workshop focused on applying regenerative techniques within rice-based systems, where soil degradation and inconsistent yields are common challenges.
Working alongside a local farming community, we introduced strategies to improve soil health between planting cycles, reduce input dependency, and enhance long-term productivity. The session also explored how precision planting tools can be adapted for different crop systems beyond vegetables.
I participated in discussions regarding cost-efficiency, scalability, and cooperative use models, reinforcing the importance of solutions that are both economically and practically viable for smallholder contexts.
